VERY IMPORTANT - YOUR SECURITY

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) strictly monitors all flight and accommodation packages sold in the UK, but if you buy a flight via the internet and accommodation from a link on the airline’s website, your holiday is NOT bonded, so you will probably lose your money if the airline or accommodation provider ceases trading. You take the same risk if you make your own flight arrangements and rent a property through a UK villa rental agency that does not bond non-flight packages (illegal, but it happens). For our clients’ peace of mind, ALL HOLIDAYS IN THIS WEBSITE ARE FULLY BONDED, so your money is 100% safe. Holiday packages with flights are ATOL protected, as we hold an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL 3340) granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. As a member of the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT 5022) approved by the Department of Trade and Industry, we provide a Bond to meet the requirements of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, giving you security for money paid over by you for holidays where we have not arranged flights. We are also founder members of the Association of Tour Operators to Portugal (ATOP).

HOW TO BOOK

IMPORTANT Please do not submit a Booking Form until you have checked final availability with our reservations staff and the villa is held on option for you. Alternatively, you can book through your Travel Agent. You can either book online using our secure Online Booking Form or download a Booking Form (requires Adobe Reader), which you can fax or post to us. You will also find full information on prices and details of car hire and holiday insurance. Please study this information carefully and if you wish to make a booking, telephone us or contact your travel agent. If you wish us to obtain a quotation for flights, please ask us at this time. We will hold the property on option for you for 48 hours, pending receipt of your booking form and full booking deposit.

BOOKING & DEPOSIT

You can reserve your holiday by sending us a completed booking form and deposits for the villa, flight seats and non-refundable insurance premiums, unless you advise us of your alternative insurance cover. Your booking will be confirmed when the booking form and full deposits are received. The villa rental deposit is detailed on the booking form. You can pay this deposit by cheque, credit, charge or debit card. To keep our prices as competitive as possible, a charge of 1.6% will be added to all credit and charge card transactions. By adding this percentage we do not have to cost into our prices the charges levied by the credit card companies, thus do not penalise those clients who wish to pay by alternative means. This charge is not applied to transactions made by UK debit card.

OUR PRICES

We act as agents for villa owners which enables us to offer the best prices for you. We can offer flexible travel arrangements to simplify the process of booking, therefore costing less than a package holiday. Our prices are based on the total weekly rental of the villa. Each property description shows the lowest weekly rent applicable to that property. Gas, water and electricity are included in the rental price.

LOWER RATES FOR UNDER-OCCUPANCY

Unlike the majority of tour operators, we believe that it is unfair to charge a supplement for under-occupancy. A considerable number of our properties have a reduced weekly rental price for empty beds! This means that when, for example, two or three people choose to share a three bedroom villa the weekly rental is often less than if there are six people in the party.

PRICE QUOTES

Any quotations given over the telephone or by email by our staff are considered to be provisional and our booking confirmation/invoice will show the definitive price for your holiday.

EXTRA COSTS

Pool heating and air conditioning are usually at extra cost, and prices are shown on the price panel. Unless stated in the property description, food packs, cots, highchairs, extra beds (when available) and fans may be requested and paid for with the final balance of the holiday. Heating and firewood are always at additional cost and must usually be paid for locally.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit is held on all villa reservations. This is payable with the holiday balance and will be refunded automatically approximately 2 weeks after your return, after deduction of any charges claimed by the villa owner and approved by us.

ALTERED BOOKINGS

A charge of £20 will be payable for every alteration made after we have sent the confirmation/invoice. Any names still to be advised within 4 weeks of departure, and name changes, will be charged at the carrier's discretion. All amendments must be made in writing and accompanied by the relevant fee but please telephone us first to discuss the alterations you may wish to make. Changes of villa, dates or party members will be treated as part or full cancellations.

FINAL PAYMENT & TICKETS

Final payment is required eight weeks before departure. Please note, we do not acknowledge recipt of payments unless specifiacally requested. For bookings within 8 weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking. Flight tickets (if booked by us) and full villa details, directions, maps and our local representatives' contact details will be posted approximately 10 days before departure. Please check these very carefully and read all other literature included in the travel documents wallet. No refund can be made in respect of unused portions of air or other tickets, unused accommodation or car hire. As we rely on postal deliveries, it is essential that you let us know if you do not receive your holiday pack.
