This stunning villa is set in an almost unrivalled position on the cliffs above a beautiful beach (part of the larger Praia d'Oura Beach) where there is a snack-bar. There is a direct private access to the beach from the gardens via a gate and steep steps. This is a large private estate and the property shares electric access gates with Vallabonzo and a flower lined drive leads to the individual entrances. There is a gate in the garden for guests wishing to book both properties, otherwise they remain private and independent from each other. It is difficult to believe that this villa is just a short walk from Santa Eulália with its variety of restaurants and bars - whilst some of these are visible from parts of the garden, other sections enjoy complete privacy. The popular Areias de São João is also close by making this a good choice for groups which include teenagers, although many clients barely leave this idyllic spot and choose instead to stock up at the local supermarket. The views from the garden of São Nemésio are truly amazing. There is a central courtyard and the landscaped garden has lawns, flower beds and three rock pools - one is a spa with water jets - cascading into the fabulous swimming pool below. The horizon pool is banked by colourful rockeries, has a gentle shallow, sloped, access and when viewed from the garden, seems to fall away into the sea beyond. The accommodation is in three sections; the main house, the annex and courtyard room. These have external access from the entrance courtyard.

Mr S. May 2007 - "We had a wonderful time. The villa was exquisite, and the manager went far beyond the call of duty to please us. A large "thank you" from us to him when you two speak. Enjoying a jacuzzi while watching the sunset over the Atlantic is a wonderful experience. We plan to return again next year. After last year's experience, we were not sure that we would be as happy when the novelty wore off. It turns out we were happier! It was like coming home to an old friend."
