This substantial villa is set in 1500 square meters of lovely landscaped gardens and has panoramic views of the coast. There is a large lawn below the pool terrace and another section of the garden contains a waterfall, complete with bridge leading to a duck pond (fenced for safety).
The décor is tasteful with high quality bed linen. The circular kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with a large American fridge freezer and connects through to the dining room which contains a bleached oak table. From here there are two steps down to the living room. A further two steps lead down to a charming semi-open summer room with seating, TV and the pool table.
The outside furniture is extremely comfortable with rattan chairs and there is an outdoor dining room with a kitchenette close to the barbeque. There is a garage for two cars and parking for four cars.

In the hills behind Faro there are some wonderful towns and villages which remain relatively unaffected by tourism. Loulé is a typical, bustling market town with lots of history and remnants of its Roman and Moorish past, including the old castle walls and mosque-like churches. As the coast has developed, gradually more villas have been built on the almond tree filled hills surrounding Loulé but this has not changed the character of the town; if you wander down the cobbled side streets, you will find workshops with craftsmen busily working on leatherware, weavers making baskets and metal workers beating out copperware.
São Brás is a sleepy town 12kms from Loulé with a central square, an interesting museum, several restaurants and few tourists.
