Maria is an exceptionally high quality villa situated in a lovely, peaceful area called Obod, just 10 minutes walking distance from Cavtat. The villa is very spacious with over 200sqm of living accommodation, incorporating four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Villa Maria is south facing and has fantastic views over the Adriatic Sea and to old town of Dubrovnik.
The living room leads onto very spacious covered terraces which overlook the sea. There are several fabulous sunbathing and chill out areas and also an excellent barbeque. The kitchen is very large and is fully equipped. The bathrooms are fully tiled with high quality fixtures and fittings as befits the overall property. The villa has its own pool and pool side shower and is surrounded by established gardens.
In the municipality of Konavle, Cavtat encompasses all a tourist seeks in an ideal holiday resort. Close to the airport and surrounded by a beautiful pine-wooded peninsula. It is popular for its cafe-bar society and promenades around the yachts in the harbour. There is easy access to several beaches and in summer water taxis glide around the coastline over to Dubrovnik Old Town.
Cavtat is on the Rat Peninsula which surrounds the well protected and accessible bay. Cavtat was an important Roman colony and it has a rich cultural and historical heritage which combines with modern day facilities, making it a fabulous choice for a holiday.
The region of Konalve is an area of natural beauty and contrasts, with valleys and mountains, green hills and dramatic stone. Fringed by the Konavle Mountains in the north and bordered by the Adriatic Sea in the south it reaches from the Bay of Kotor to the Peninsula or Prevlaka in the east and to the west it inclines down to the cosy coves of Obod an Cavtat.
The thousand year history is still seen in countless traditions which have been preserved through folklore; the distinctive traditional costums and embroidery of the region and the way in which mankind exists in harmony with nature make this a unique and beautiful destination.

Dubrovnik, in the extreme south of Croatia was proclaimed by Lord Byron to be the Pearl of the Adriatic. It really is a special place with magnificent marble streets and baroque buildings glistening in the sunshine. The main pedestrian area is lined with cafes and shops and has magnificent monuments at either end. The architecture is amazing with churches, monasteries, and museums and although Dubrovnik was badly damaged in the siege of the early 90’s, restoration has been painstaking and it is almost impossible to imagine that there was such extensive destruction. Beyond the city are the gorgeous beaches, densely wooded peninsulas and the turquoise Adriatic dotted with lush islands.
