This impressive and unique villa is situated on a hill with spectacular views over the Algarve coast and the Atlantic Ocean from one side, and views over hills to the north on the other side. There is a large, landscaped garden which has six terraces; the terraces on the south side have lovely sea views and the impressive swimming pool has built-in jets, Jacuzzi and a waterfall. There are two barbeques, one wood and one gas and also an outside widescreen TV and surround sound system with iPod dock.
Loule is a short drive and has numerous shops, restaurants and cafes. Loule was originally a Roman settlement and the remains of a ruined castle are still visible in the old quarter. Loule has a market six days a week which sells all manner of things including fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. The beaches and golf courses at Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are just a ten minute drive.
The accommodation is divided in two; the main house which accommodates eight and an annex which accomodates two people. The main house has a spacious living room with doors opening onto a covered terrace with views of the surrounding countryside. There is also an outdoor seating area, a library and a hall/games room with table football. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has lovely views to the sea and a roof terrace for private sunbathing.

Annex: (only available for groups of 9 or 10). The annex is divided into two separate studios, one of which is inhabited by the discrete villa manager. The residence is situated in a way that it is completely isolated from both the main building and from the other two rooms in the annex. The other studio includes 1 double bedroom, plus sofa bed. 1 shower room. Laudry room with washer/dryer, extra fridge/freezer. (Please note maximum 2 people in the annex).

In the hills behind Faro there are some wonderful towns and villages which remain relatively unaffected by tourism. Loulé is a typical, bustling market town with lots of history and remnants of its Roman and Moorish past, including the old castle walls and mosque-like churches. As the coast has developed, gradually more villas have been built on the almond tree filled hills surrounding Loulé but this has not changed the character of the town; if you wander down the cobbled side streets, you will find workshops with craftsmen busily working on leatherware, weavers making baskets and metal workers beating out copperware.
São Brás is a sleepy town 12kms from Loulé with a central square, an interesting museum, several restaurants and few tourists.
