Al Colle is an amazing and fascinating villa. From the 17th century, the villa served as a monastery. It is located on one of the most beautiful hills of Lucca, where guests can enjoy a magnificent view over the valley to the city walls. The villa has been renovated by the current owner, respecting the original structure and retaining the typical Tuscan culture, including original terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. Only 3.5 kilometers from the villa, at the foot of the hill, there is a small supermarket, post office and a bus stop. There are lots of wonderful cities nearby; you can visit Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Pisa, Florence and the famous beaches. This is a great location for people who like to visit the famous Tuscan cities but also for those who want to enjoy a quiet relaxing holiday.
The exterior of the villa is fully fenced and is set in 3000 square meters of land, characterized by an impressive garden with ancient trees and small hedges. It has a perfectly maintained garden which is designed to allow guests to enjoy the beautiful view. In front of the kitchen there is a small and airy pergola, equipped with chairs and a table ideal for outdoor dining and where it is possible to make use of the barbeque facilities. From the garden there are views of the surrounding countryside and the city walls and towers.
The swimming pool is located about 30 meters from the villa and is on a lower level. There are views to the south and a panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. There are poolside umbrellas, sun loungers and deck chairs.
The swimming pool will be available for use between the last Saturday in April and the first Saturday in October, at other times of the year the property is rented without use of the pool.
