The original building which dates from the first years of '900 has been recovered and resorted by the present owners. The owners have preserved the original structure and most of the original materials, like celling bricks and sturdy wood beams, matching today the present bright colours and contemporary interior design. The property is located in the countryside, just 4 kms from the medieval center of Lucca and a few kilometers from the art cities of Pisa and Florence. The beautiful beaches of Versilia, the well-known locations of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi are not far away.
Flower beds and borders evergreen surround the house, that opens on a large garden where the swimming pool and solarium can be found. The completely fenced property covers an area of about 3000 square meters. Guests can enjoy lunches and dinners under the gazebo located in front of the living room whilst enjoying the view of the pool and the fresh air blowing in from the nearby hills.
The swimming pool is situated on a higher level with regard to the living area of the house, but it is easily accessible via the steps in front of the living room. Rectangular-shaped, it has an infinity border on the side closest to the front of the house. The pool has salt water purification and a PVC lining, with the border in local stone. Easy steps give access to the water. The solarium area is natural lawn and it is equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and beach umbrellas.
The swimming pool will be available for use between the last Saturday of April and the first Saturday of October, at other times of the year the property is rented without use of the pool.
