Praia del Rey

Praia del Rey Golf & Country Club is an hour north of Lisbon, a few miles from the walled medieval town of Óbidos, bordering sand duned beaches. The resort is in a prime beach front location with 500 acres of pine and eucalyptus forests on one side and miles of golden sandy beaches on the other. There are several developments of villas within the resort, each with a central pool. There is an 18 hole par 72 championship links golf course which has been voted number two in Portugal. Other facilities include seven floodlit tennis courts, two children's playgrounds, a clubhouse with a bar, restaurant and numerous other leisure facilities. Just off the coast from Praia del Rey and easily accessible by boat are the spectacular Berlenga islands - a perfect spot for diving and deep sea fishing.
