Sesimbra

This picturesque town, to the south of Lisbon is located at the foot of the hills of Arrábida, inside a sparkling blue bay. Sesimbra is the perfect holiday destination with wonderful scenery, numerous cafés and fabulous seafood restaurants. Since the 1960s Sesimbra has become extremely popular with weekenders from Lisbon looking for an easy escape from the city and it is a pretty place to eat fantastic fish, stroll on the promenade or relax on the sandy beach with its enticing clean water. There are numerous local activities including kite surfing, dolphin watching, climbing, cycling trails, horse riding, trekking, massage and spa facilities, boat trips, fishing expeditions, vineyard tours and wine tasting. For golf enthusiasts, there are several neighbouring courses.
