This stylish villa has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The bedrooms have top quality linens and the bathrooms are pristine, one with a double shower and one with a Victorian bath tub. The living room has attractive leather sofas and is open-plan to the kitchen which is stunning, with granite work surfaces and a most unusual feature cooker hood. It is very well equipped with a built-in griddle and a double American style fridge/freezer. The master suite is delightful and has a private terrace with extensive country views.
There is a large, landscaped garden with lawns, a rockery leading to a peaceful, secluded area for meditation and an unusual children’s pool which appears to have been carved out of the rocks.
NB Groups of 6 or less will be accommodated in the main house only. For larger groups rooms paid for in advance will be made available.

In the hills behind Faro there are some wonderful towns and villages which remain relatively unaffected by tourism. Loulé is a typical, bustling market town with lots of history and remnants of its Roman and Moorish past, including the old castle walls and mosque-like churches. As the coast has developed, gradually more villas have been built on the almond tree filled hills surrounding Loulé but this has not changed the character of the town; if you wander down the cobbled side streets, you will find workshops with craftsmen busily working on leatherware, weavers making baskets and metal workers beating out copperware.
São Brás is a sleepy town 12kms from Loulé with a central square, an interesting museum, several restaurants and few tourists.
