We are thrilled to be offering this amazing property in Bucelas, just 30km from Lisbon. The house is part of an estate located in a protected and remote area of exceptional biodiversity with amazing views and the vineyard is certified sustainable, using only traditional methods with no chemical fertilisers. The estate is a mass of flora and fauna and guests can arrange a tour of the vineyard, winery and a wine tasting during their stay and will be welcomed wtih some of the wine produced here on their arrival. It is also possible to purchase some of the wines from the cellar of the property.
The house is spacious and light with a large living area and traditional style kitchen with all the modern appliances. There is a beautiful, white, Steinberg grand piano in the living room which is tuned and maintained regularly and the owner asks that only accomplished pianists play. It will not be made available to those who are not experienced piano players but it is a delight to behold nonetheless. There are french doors and skylights throughout this level allowing the light to flood into this lovely space.
A wooden, open staircase leads up to a library and study area (care should be taken with young children) for those who want to escape the midday sun and relax with a good book.
The living area spills out beautifully onto the terrace and pool area which takes full advantage of the panoramic views of the surrounding vineyard and countryside. There is a covered space with outside dining furniture for long, lazy lunches or candlelit dinners.
The owner would like it noted that there is no pool fence or security alarm around the pool so care should be taken with small children. Also on the estate (quite some distance from the main house) is a large event space which is perfect for summer parties or wedding celebrations.
