Laburnam is a state of the art, modern villa designed with attention to detail in both the functionality and the decor.  Situated in the sleepy village of Boderna, this is the ideal place to get away from it all for a truly unique villa holiday experience.

It was sustainably constructed in 2018 using local materials found on the site, while the wooden parts of the building, as well as the garden furniture, were handcrafted on the Indonesian island of Java (all have FSC certificate of legal logging).  Set on a huge plot of land, there is complete privacy and tranquillity with views of the olive fields all the way to the Adriatic coast.  The garden is completely enclosed for extra reassurance with little ones or those who wish to take their pets away with them.  

Laburnam features an outstanding, indoor-outdoor heated swimming pool that can be used both in the summer and during the cooler months.  There is also a sauna, gym and Jacuzzi meaning that guests can work out or luxuriate and pamper themselves during their stay.

Inside, each room is stylish and contemporary with high-quality fixtures and fittings and carefully chosen furniture and soft furnishings.  The living area is open plan with a unique staircase leading to the first floor (care should be taken with young children as the staircase has open treads).  

The villa comfortably accommodates 8 adults in 4, superb bedrooms on the first floor with en-suite bathrooms and views of the surrounding countryside. A further 4 children or young adults can be accommodated on sofa beds in the living room if required and there are 2 additional folding beds for children that can be placed in the bedrooms.

A splendid roof terrace with good quality sun loungers is the ideal place to relax and watch the sunset over the Istrian countryside.

There is air conditioning and heating throughout making this a good choice all year round.

Istria is a land of beautiful vistas, lush nature and hard-working, friendly folk, the majestic Boškarin bull and delicious wild game, glorious white truffles and all the shapes of homemade pasta, a kingdom of wine with some of the best Croatian grapes growing on the rolling hills - this place is very special indeed.
