Maximum: 10 adults plus 1 child/children
Dona Maria is in an impressive position on the cliff top, west of Praia da Luz. The villa has modern bathrooms and a large fitted kitchen. The accommodation is spacious throughout and the villa is set in mature gardens with almost unrivalled, magnificent views out to sea and across the bay to Lagos. There is a small paved courtyard at the front and the large living room also enjoys the fantastic views via glass doors which open onto a huge terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The property is situated on a cliff top and although the garden is completely enclosed with a wall on three sides and a gated fence on the seaside, it goes without saying that care should be taken with children.
Tourist licence number 4828/AL

Praia da Luz, Algarve
The village of Luz has cobbled streets leading down to the sandy beach with a pedestrian walkway. It has a relaxed, holiday atmosphere and offers basic shopping, bars and restaurants and a wide range of water sports. Facilities at, or near, Praia da Luz include scuba diving, water-skiing, windsurfing (Surf Experience), microlite, horse riding at Quinta do Paraiso Alto and, of course, golf. There are four courses within a 20 minute drive; the championship course at Penina, Palmares at Lagos, Parque de Floresta at Budens and the Boa Vista course between Lagos and Luz. The historic town of Lagos is well worth a visit. We can also arrange horse riding and lessons at a local estate. Luz Bay Club Hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and squash courts, Turkish baths and a gym; visitors can buy a day pass to use these facilities....
Pros
Luz is a lively little town with a superb beach and lots of restaurants and bars. Burgau, its quieter neighbour, remains a traditional Portuguese village.
Cons
Most of the villas do not require a hire car but taxi transfers from the airport are quite expensive.
