This spacious villa is close to the village of Porches and the buzzing resort of Armação de Pêra with good restaurants and a long sandy beach. It is also a short drive from the lively resort of Praia do Carvoeiro. 

The interior is bright and sunny with some curved walls and a circular entrance hall. The villa is furnished using primary colours with large paintings by a local artist dominating the walls. Each bedroom has its own colour scheme with coordinating soft furnishings and en-suite bathrooms. 

The modern kitchen is very well equipped with two enormous fridge freezers and a built-in cooker. The open-plan sitting room is well furnished with plush, curved sofas providing ample seating for larger groups with contemporary dining furniture and a wood burning stove. There is heating for early or late season holidays and there are mosquito nets on all doors and windows.  

The impressive swimming pool enjoys views of the surrounding countryside and the lawned garden areas below. There is a lovely awning by the pool, perfect for avoiding the hot sun and the owner has recently installed a wonderful pergola on the second terrace at the side of the house with dining furniture and a built-in charcoal barbecue making this a perfect spot for alfresco dining.

Casa Castel is the perfect choice for larger families needing extra space both inside and out.

NB There are glass tables with sharp edges in the hallway and living room so care must be taken with small children (see photos).
