This beautiful villa is set in an acre and a half of beautiful, landscaped gardens and has breathtaking, panoramic views.
The interior is stunning throughout and much care and attention has gone into the furnishings and décor. The owners have thought of just about everything to make this a perfect holiday home. The impressive entrance hall gives a wonderful first impression of the villa and is dominated by a wood burning stove. The spacious living area has a feature fireplace made from local stone, a large L-shaped sofa as well as a dining area. Leading from the living room, the dining room has glass doors to the fabulous, well equipped kitchen with an American style fridge/freezer, a central island and twin oven. The bedrooms and bathrooms all have top quality linen and towels and nearly all the rooms take advantage of the incredible views.
The swimming pools are reached via paths set into the vast lawns. There is a wooden summer kitchen/games room on the pool terrace. It has a drinks fridge, a seating area, dining furniture, two cloakrooms and a variety of games equipment.

Mr D. 'The villa was excellent and the service from The Villa Agency was first class. We will certainly be using you again'
Mrs H " We thought the villa was absolutely stunning with so much room and such excellent facilities. Both of the pools were great - the little ones really enjoyed their warm pool (and so did some of the adults too!) . The maid service was efficient but also discrete. They were very friendly ladies. I asked for your recommendation for somewhere off the tourist track and it certainly was. It was so peaceful and with such spectacular views. You obviously need a car for this villa but the drive to the supermarket at Almancil was straightforward. I also asked you to arrange a lunch stop on our arrival day to help the little ones with their journey and once again it was perfect. Lovely food in a stunning location, Casa do Lago was amazing. The staff could not do enough for us. All the arrangements went like clockwork and everyone went out of their way to be obliging including the taxi driver and the car hire reps. In conclusion, another fabulous holiday with you- perfect weather, amazing accommodation, lovely pools, the games room and all those barbecues and outside meals"
In the hills behind Faro there are some wonderful towns and villages which remain relatively unaffected by tourism. Loulé is a typical, bustling market town with lots of history and remnants of its Roman and Moorish past, including the old castle walls and mosque-like churches. As the coast has developed, gradually more villas have been built on the almond tree filled hills surrounding Loulé but this has not changed the character of the town; if you wander down the cobbled side streets, you will find workshops with craftsmen busily working on leatherware, weavers making baskets and metal workers beating out copperware.
São Brás is a sleepy town 12kms from Loulé with a central square, an interesting museum, several restaurants and few tourists. Close by is the village of Estoi which has Roman ruins, an 18th Century palace and an excellent market held on the second Sunday of each month. ...
The village centre of Boliqueime is in the hills just in front of the motorway and a short drive to the coast. It retains a village atmosphere yet is just a fifteen minute drive from the centre of Albufeira and about the same to the golf courses at Vilamoura. The centre still has some cobbled streets with local shops, a post office, chemist and a couple of cafés and there is an annual fair, held during the summer in the church square, with stalls selling locally produced handicrafts and food. On the main road there is a well used and authentic café/restaurant, where one of our directors was once defeated by a rustic local stew of pig's head, complete with ears! The surrounding countryside is hilly, with pine and almond trees and dotted with gleaming white villas. This is the way to get the best of the Algarve if you do not mind a short drive to the shops and beaches. Salir is well known for its 12th century castle, originally built by the Moors to protect the countryside and its peoples from a Christian attack, It is situated at the top of the village and there are some outstanding views across the town and the surrounding countryside. It is close to the Rocha da Pena national park which is a popular hiking area, with locals and visitors alike.
